Eddie Saccardo is an undercover police officer with the Philadelphia P.D. on the TV show Cold Case . He is very well informed about everything that goes on in his city. Though the initial meeting between Saccardo and Detective Lillian Rush , at a crime scene on the episode 'Bad Reputation', wasn't a warm one. She mistook him for an onlooker and he, in turn, referred to her as 'Cagney'. Detective Miller described Saccardo to Detective Rush as knowing more about crimes that were about to happen than the crooks did. Lily's initial impression of him was that he was smartass Superman. Though they got off to a rocky start, Detectives Rush and Saccardo sooned became very friendly. Lily even spent the night with him in one of his apartments while he was undercover. Show less «
